The podcast is hosted by Dana Irvine, a Holistic Nutritionist, Breast Health Educator, Certified Menopause and Women’s Health Coach, and Thermography Advisor. Dana’s work is deeply rooted in helping women better understand their bodies and move through menopause with awareness, compassion, and confidence.
I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by Dana, during which we discussed navigating emotions during menopause.
This conversation brought up the importance of our inner world for living in harmony in the outer world. It is through our emotions that we perceive life. Our emotions are not punishment; they are messages that help us process experiences we have not yet processed and that require our attention. As we move through our wise years, our well-being depends on taking the time to sort out the unprocessed experiences and emotions we have suppressed or neglected. We hold our issues in our tissues, and with tools such as breath, movement, and journaling, we can support ourselves in freeing ourselves from emotional pain.
